Dr. Jiangyun Sheng

Known for her gentle and humane dentistry, Dr. Sheng’s expertise and friendly chairside manner makes her a favorite amongst her patients.

Dr. Sheng earned her Doctorate degree in Dental Medicine at the Boston University School of Dental Medicine with high honors. She also received the one-year advanced postgraduate education in general dentistry at the University of Rochester Eastman Dental Center. Dr. Sheng is the Clinical Assistant Professor at Boston University School of Dental Medicine and has taught there since 2011.

She has received many awards for her professional performance, including the Dr. Remo Sinibaldi Award from the Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine. That award was for her outstanding achievement in fixed and removable prosthodontics, crowns, bridges and dentures.

She is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Dental Association and the Massachusetts Dental Society.

Dr. Sheng has been practicing dentistry for fifteen years. Her interests and skills ranges from restorative, cosmetic, surgical, to endodontic treatment modalities. With her gentle nature and over ten years of clinical experience, Dr. Sheng is happy in delivering high quality dental care, and in creating healthy, beautiful smiles for her patients.

Dr. Wanpeng Xu, Periodontist

Dr. Xu received his BDS dental degree from Henan Medical University, China, in 2000. Upon graduation, he went to Hiroshima University in Japan for his periodontal training. Over there, he received his PhD degree majoring in tissue engineering in periodontal application. Dr. Xu then attended Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine and completed his DMD degree and periodontal residency training from 2010 to 2015.

Dr. Xu is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, and a committee member of the Massachusetts Dental Society.

Besides practising as a periodontist, he is also working with bioengineers and tech groups to develop new methods to facilitate implant placement in bone-deficient areas in the mouth.

Dr. Xu was named one of the Top Dentists by Boston Magazine in 2018.

Dr. Monica Brown

Dr. Brown received her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from Boston University School of Dental Medicine. Prior to being a dentist, she was a hygienist and has been in the dental field since 2009. She enjoys seeing patients of all ages and takes pride in her patients being as comfortable and relaxed as possible during their appointments. She enjoys bringing smiles to people’s faces with her compassionate and friendly personality, as well as helping her patient’s achieve the smile they desire to have.

Dr. Brown is skilled to provide most phases of dentistry, including restorative care, crowns and bridges, full and partial dentures, root canal treatment and extractions. She listens to her patients’ wants while addressing their needs to develop a treatment plan.

Dr. Brown enjoys hiking, fishing, photography, archery and making handcrafted crochet pieces. She is an active member of the American Dental Association and Massachusetts Dental Society.
