COVID-19 Update: Certified Clean by Eassist

At Samoset Family Dental our staff and patient's safety is our number one priority.

We’re happy to announce that officials have notified us that it’s safe to reopen Tuesday, May 26th. We will be prioritizing emergent and potential emergent care first.

We have made special efforts to ensure a clean and sanitized dental practice during the COVID-19 crisis. Our office has passed the eAssist COVID-19 Cleanliness Certification Test. You will see these changes on your next visit.

New COVID-19 Safety Measures

  • We are conducting pre-visit screenings for all our patients and staff daily (temperature and symptom checks). If you have a fever, cough, shortness of breath, or other COVID-19 symptoms you will be asked to reschedule. Any patient or staff who were diagnosed with COVID-19 must have an all-clear from their physician before entering our facility.
  • Our staff is trained on proper PPE use and COVID screening. They're educated on the most up-to-date COVID-19 symptoms and utilize recommended Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including masks, gloves, face shields, and gowns.
  • We've improved our already rigorous disinfection methods. A new roving sanitization specialist will continually clean all high-touch areas in the facility throughout the day. Multiple UV sanitizers have been installed to disinfect airborne particulates.
  • Our waiting room is temporarily closed for curbside check-in to maintain safe social distance. Patients, please arrive 10-minutes early to inform the front desk of your arrival by calling or texting our phone and wait in your parked car or outdoors until our staff calls you in.
  • We are limiting the number of patients we see at any given time and added extra time between appointments to allow for safe social distancing, proper ventilation, and sanitation. Only patients, or patients plus one critical caregiver, are allowed into an appointment. Our office is closed to all people except patients and healthcare workers.
  • We ask that all patients wear a face covering and wash their hands upon entering the facility.
  • Patients may be asked to use an antiseptic oral rinse (diluted peroxide, chlorhexidine, others) pre-procedure.

As always, our main concern is the safety and well-being of our patients and staff. If you have any questions or concerns, contact us at any time. To request an appointment, please click here.

We look forward to seeing you soon!
