Types of Dentures

There are three main types of dentures we are able to provide you with: complete, partial and implant supported over-dentures. The process is similar for all of them, the main difference being what condition you are in to determine what type will best suit you and your mouth.

Making dentures is something that requires detail and precision. We will take the appropriate amount of time needed in order to provide you will a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing denture.

What can I expect during my appointment?

The typical denture experience entails three — four visits.

At the first visit we will discuss your case, take impressions and determine the shade needed.

The next visit we will have try in your teeth, set in wax — essentially this is a mock-up of your future denture to ensure you are pleased with the color and overall feel.

The third visit, it is our goal to deliver you with the final denture. Of course, each case is done specifically according to the patient and unique circumstances; however we always do our best to provide patient satisfaction in a timely manner.

You will most likely return a few times in the following month in order for us to adjust the denture to your maximum comfort as your mouth adjusts to the denture.

An implant-supported denture has special attachments that snap onto attachments on the implants, making it more stable and supportive than a traditional denture that is fitted to the gums.
